Haley is an Oregon coast native and was born right here in North Bend. She has moved up and down the Oregon coast doing a variety field work jobs for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Most recently she was the Coordinator for the Nestucca, Neskowin and Sand Lake Watersheds Council in Pacific City. She holds a Masters of Studies in Environmental and Natural Resource Law from Lewis and Clark Law School. During her studies she interned with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) working on the Oregon Coast Coho Recovery Plan. Haley also serves as the Legislative committee co-chair for the Oregon Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. One of her career highlights was working as deckhand on her now-husband’s commercial salmon troller. In her spare time she likes to fish, bow hunt, swim and play outside in general.
