MINI-BIO

Adam has eight years of fisheries experience including six years as a fisheries consultant in Seattle, WA and seasonal work with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Adam is currently a graduate student in Fisheries Science at Oregon State University. He is using information collected in the Coos watershed for his graduate research project. Adam is interested in environmental science in general, and stream ecology in particular.

WHAT ADAM DOES AT COOSWA

As the Monitoring Coordinator at the Coos Watershed Association, Adam is in charge of managing the Life-Cycle Monitoring Project. This project monitors the abundance and survival of coho populations in two lowland, coastal streams in Coos Bay. He is also in charge of obtaining permits for this work and assists with grant proposal and report writing.

 

 
 

 

 

 


In his free time, Adam enjoys hiking, skiing, playing ultimate Frisbee, and chasing down his 1 year-old son, Miles.
